Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player Nicholas ‘Nitr0’ Cannella is now a part of 100 Thieves Valorant team.
This news comes in just a couple of days after nitr0 announced his retirement from CS: GO after years of top-level play with Team Liquid’s team. On the first of August, Team Liquid announced that nitr0 would be departing their CS:GO roster.
100 Thieves’ owner and CEO, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, fired four players because it’s underperformance across all the games.
These included:
- Keane «Valliate» Alonso
- Zachary «Venerated» Roach
- Alfred «Pride» Choi
- Diondre «YaBoiDre» Bond
So, the team is now down to two members: Spencer ‘Hiko’ Martin and Nicholas ‘Nitr0’ Cannella.
No-one knows exactly when we will be able to see Nitr0 and Niko playing side-by-side, but this could be interesting.
