Riot accidentally revealed Killjoy early and we now know all her abilities and release date!

Riot Games seemingly leaked VALORANT‘s next agent on the company’s official website. The character is named Killjoy, and she’s the latest techmaster that might join the game’s roster.

Valorant players have been eagerly awaiting Killjoy’s arrival in the tactical FPS title for some time now. Early leaks — including Agent voicelines and work-in-progress animations — gave us an idea of what Killjoy will be like.

Fans actually found a webpage up on Riot’s official VALORANT website named “Enter Killjoy”—the page had all of her abilities on display in video form, as well as a brief description for each. The page only had a temporary banner attached, and no images of the character were revealed.

The page titled «Enter Killjoy» told us about the abilities of agent number 12 and offered space for some YouTube videos — which were still missing, though. On the page Killjoy spoke out and the text said:

OK Brimstone, I read your Beginner’s Guide. Maybe too long. All you needed to say was — have me on your team!

Killjoy abilities:

Skill 1 (C) — Alarm Bot

  • Equip a bot that chases nearby enemies that come into range. When your killer robot friend reaches his target, things go boom. Alert bot not only deals damage, for a short time the target suffers double the damage from any source.

Ability 2 (Q) — Turret

  • You deploy a turret that fires at enemies in front of it. It’s firing range is 180-degrees in one direction. Just like the Alarmbot, the turret too can be recalled.

Signature Ability (E) — Nanoswarm

  • Nanoswarm is a grenade that can be placed before a fight or tossed out when needed. What’s interesting, is that when you throw the grenade, it doesn’t explode. You need to activate the Nanoswarm to deploy a damaging swarm of nanobots and catch the enemy crying.

Ultimate (X) — Lockdown

  • Lockdown deploys a device that starts to channel and enemies can destroy it during that time. If they fail to do so, the consequences are nasty. After a short wind-up, it will detain all enemies caught in the radius for eight seconds.

Riot Games unofficially conformed that Killjoy will be Valorant‘ next agent in Act II through a leaking link name “Enter Killjoy” on Valorant.
